Committee Appointments
I currently serve on multiple committees that shape how Ulster County delivers services, plans for the future, and supports residents’ needs.
These roles allow me to engage deeply in the work of county government and help ensure decisions are informed, practical, and responsive to the communities we serve.
Health & Human Services and Human Rights Committee
Focuses on public health, social services, and protecting the rights and dignity of all residents. This includes support systems for families, vulnerable populations, and community well-being.
Energy, Environment & Sustainability Committee
Oversees initiatives related to environmental protection, climate resilience, energy use, and long-term sustainability planning for Ulster County.
Laws & Rules Committee
Reviews legislation before it reaches the full Legislature, helping ensure proposals are clear, legally sound, and ready for consideration.
Ways & Means Committee
Responsible for budget oversight, fiscal planning, and financial decisions that impact county operations and taxpayer resources.

Lower Costs
Resolution No. 233 - April 2026
Co-sponsored legislation establishing a reduced sales tax rate on gasoline purchases above $3 per gallon, in response to rising inflation caused by the illegal war in Iran.
Resolution No. 6 - February 2026
Co-sponsored legislation establishing a five-year agreement with the City of Kingston to revise how Ulster County sales tax revenue is distributed to municipalities, improving fiscal stability and predictability for local governments.
Greener Future
Resolution No. 108 - March 2026
Co-sponsored legislation renewing Ulster County’s membership in the Hudson River Drinking Water Intermunicipal Council (“Hudson 7”) and supporting funding to strengthen regional efforts to protect drinking water quality in the Hudson River watershed.
Stronger Community
Resolution No. 189 - April, 2026
Established a county policy related to federal immigration enforcement in Ulster County.
This policy clarifies local procedures and priorities to ensure county resources remain focused on public safety and maintaining trust between residents and local government.
Resolution No. 112 - March, 2026
Co-sponsored legislation establishing a partnership with SUNY Cobleskill to expand local paramedic training through the Department of Emergency Services, strengthening the EMS workforce and improving emergency response capacity in Ulster County.
